Once you begin, have the people you work with rate these areas (measure productivity) and see if there is room for improvement to ensure that you can do your job effectively and keep everyone happy. What does the company get? More office space, more parking, improved employee morale, increased productivity, less traffic & pollution. If you want to make it even more enticing to your employer, offer to become an independent contractor paid hourly or by the project. The company would then be able to reduce their costs even further. Of course, you would not receive any of the employee benefits such as insurance, 401K, profit sharing, etc.
